Well here we go into another year and there’s no sign that the trend to invest in Tenerife property is slowing down. Once seen, Tenerife sells itself to holiday makers especially when a company like Actual Properties can offer such a wide range of property in the most sought after locations.
There are good signs in the air for all visitors to Tenerife. Easyjet are taking over the GB Airways franchise from the end of March and will offer cheaper flights from Manchester and Gatwick to our shores and in winter 2008 Thomas Cook is adding extra flights from Leeds/Bradford airport.
Many holiday makers and potential investors like to look at new markets and resorts but here in Tenerife you can have the advantage of a proven location with a great record of all year sun and a full range of facillities plus plenty of emerging resorts with different charms to offer.

Palm Mar is a prime example, handily placed for Los Cristianos and Las Americas, it boasts a quiet relaxed setting nestled between Guaza mountain and the rasca nature reserve. Luxury and serenity are the keys and with the resort built into the hillside, everyone gets a great view.
Bahia de los Menceyes offers a range of top quality villas and apartments, finished to a high standard and served by soothing pools and exotic gardens. Penthouse dulpexes of up to 4 bedrooms and ground floor apartments, all meet your most exacting needs. This is just one of many quieter settings for those who want to avoid the bustling nightlife of the bigger resorts. Basically, whatever type of investment you are looking for, Actual Properties can find the perfect choice for you.

It may be a little quieter than usual out here in Tenerife but with the sun, sea and amazing property investment opportunities, that will soon pick up. That’s not just blind optimism, there’s a lot of promotion going on that will bring big rewards to this sun kissed paradise.
This week ABTA, the Association of British Travel Agents, is holding it’s annual conference in the Magma Centre in Las Americas from November 27 to 30, with 1,200 delegates seeing at first hand the charms of Tenerife. The British media are in close attendance and Tenerife is going to be in everyones daily papers for a while. If they want to see the sort of quality property that Tenerife has to offer, they don’t have to look far. Actual Properties have a great range of homes on offer just outside the Magma Centre.
Residencial Caldera del Rey just above the Magma Centre and the new Siam Park offers ground floor penthouse luxury. Just a few 100 yards along in San Eugenio Alto, there’s Mirador del Sur, open plan luxury complete with gardens, garages and air conditioning. If the delegates find themselves admiring the mountains, there eyes may well spot the stylish Roque del Conde development with en suite facillities and those stunning views.
Down in Cancun, Mexico on December 3 and 4 the International Golf Travel Market takes place with Tenerife right in there showing what a top golf destination it is. Apart from the Tenerife governments own exhibit, Golf Costa Adeje will be pushing it’s case. Actual Properties already know what a lovely area it is set in as they have the Tierra del Fuego villas overlooking the course in prime positions and with luxury as standard.
Thats just a small selection of what Actual Properties have on offer to tempt more people looking for the good life in Tenerife.

Are you keen to be environmentally friendly, do you like to put some thought into your choices for holidays, property and travel.? Well there’s good news on all those fronts as Golf Del Sur in San Miguel de Abona has been awarded a Diploma of Honour for the best environmentally friendly business.
The 27 hole course won the honour from the Spanish Golf Federation by beating 35 courses across the country to get the prestigious Madera Verde. It’s a well deserved acolade for the course and reflects it’s day to day policies concerning upkeep of the greens and walkways. Perched on the coastal hillside, it affords great views of the Atlantic and the cliffs below attract a wide range of birds and other wildlife.
Wouldn’t you like to have considerate neighbours like that? Thankfully Actual Properties have a great development right on hand, Alamos Park offers low level villas with luxury finish that blend in with the prize winning surroundings. At 1,020 square metres, with a pool, air conditioning and 3 or 4 bedrooms, they can offer everything you could need, and what a setting.
Golf del Sur is just to the west of the south airport in a purpose built resort that dips off the main motorway linking the main parts of the island. The views are clear and uninterrupted and the whole setting really is a breath of fresh air.

It’s proved a rocky rather than Yellow Brick Road to get Elton John to perform in Tenerife but maybe he has had a sneaky look at the charms of Costa Adeje and the beautiful golf course, because he has agreed to play there on January 2008.
Yes for one night only, the Rocket Man will be landing at a specially created stage by the driving range and upwards of 25,000 fans are expected to turn up to hear the living legend.
Tickets will be on sale soon but can be pre ordered on 902056492 at prices of 35 euros, 90 euros and 120 euros. The island is buzzing at the news and although no plans have been announced to film the concert, the television news coverage alone should ensure that Costa Adeje is in the shop window, and few can fail to be impressed.

It must rank as one of the most charming villages in Tenerife but if you invest in property in La Caleta, you might wonder who has envious eyes on those wide open spaces nest door. There’s no need to worry, not only is the Costa Adeje golf course a nice buffer just above, but to the west side there is an area that is protected by law.
The Site of Scientific Interest covers 78.3 hectares and extends from the Chirinquito beach, just past La Caleta village, as far along as El Puertito. Rising to 100 metres, the zone is covered by a law passed in 1987 to protect the naturally sculpted cliffs, the bird life and the flowers and plants that grow there.

One prime example is the Tabaiba plant, it comes in 2 varieties, Dulce (sweet) and Amarga (sour) . The Tabaiba Amarga was often used by locals to catch fish that swam up into the rock pools at high tide. A nice sprinkling of the amarga would make them feel drowsy, almost drunk, and easy to catch.
The birds that nest along the cliffs of the shore are also worthy of protection and will thrive in this special area. maybe if your buying in the La Caleta area, a pair of binoculors could be a good extra investment to keep an eye on these most welcome neighbours.

There are lots of reasons for moving to Tenerife so why shouldn’t golf be one of them. It’s not like you are going to live out on the fairway, but you can get pretty close.
Take Golf Del Sur for instance, set in the south east corner of Tenerife, close to the airport and with top quality properties wrapped around one of the best golf courses on the island. Alamos Park features low level villas set against the Golf Del Sur course and with great views out to sea and across to Montaña Roja, the distinctive red mountain that welcomes you as you fly in to the south airport.
As you enjoy the ravines and volcanic sand traps of the course, you can also admire the quality of the luxury developments that surround the playing surface. Designed in 1987, the course later had a complete makeover from Manuel Pinero and is a great area to settle in.
The main motorway that links up the island slips off into this green paradise, but you will struggle to notice it as you relax in your property knowing that in such a setting, the investment value will hold as steady as your putt.

Sometimes it’s difficult to please everyone, a property with great views and access to a nearby golf course might mean being away from all the facillities and services you need, especially if you are in business.
Actual properties have the perfect solution with residencia Caldera del Rey, a development of luxury, low level penthouses just on the edge of playa de las americas, one of the most popular and lively parts of Tenerife. Best of all you are placed just along from Golf Las Americas, a well designed 18 hole course, giaranteed to tax the brain, and despite it’s nearness to the motorway and nightlife centre of the island, it is serene and tranquil, no wonder it was chosen to host the Spanish Ladies Open.
Luxury is guaranteed on this development and the views are great by day or night. looking out to sea, you can gaze at the calm of the Atlantic and as night falls, the image is boosted by a sea of bright lights from the entertainment centres of Las Americas below.
Properties near golf courses will always retain their value, you can be sure the area will be well kept and looked after and this is one open green space that is not going to be built on, so just relax and work on your swing.

Your pretty demanding with your property shopping list, you want to be a short walk from the beach, in a luxury property with great views and a secluded setting - oh and a golf course on hand would be nice. That’s a tall order but Actual Properties have the answer in 2 choices, Caleta Golf Resort and Magnolia Golf Resort.
La Caleta is centred around an old Canarian fishing village and has retained it’s traditional charm whilst adding luxury properties for the discerning investor. Playa de la Enramada is a largely undeveloped beach that doesn’t attract swarms of sun bathers and La Caleta village hugs the rugged coastline and is full of tasty fish restaurants.
All that old world charm doesn’t mean you have to skimp on quality, Caleta Golf resort has spacious 2 and 3 bedroomed villas with pools, garages and a view that can’t be spoiled as it looks out onto Costa Adeje golf course. This 27 hole, par 72, dream of a course was used for the 2003 Spanish Open and is famous for it’s rolling course that flows down from the mountains to the sea. Built on old banana plantations, it has kept the original stone walls, terraces and shady palms.
Magnolia Golf Resort offers you apartments and duplexes just above the village. designed to be modern and eco friendly, the views never fail to impress and you are only 20 minutes from the main south airport.
